Having said that, for those who may not know the books or those that need a refresher:

The Otherworld is this world. This current place and time where you and everyone you know lives. However, it is a world filled with supernatural beings; all with their own powers and knowledge.

In this world, the supernaturals are not at peace. Witches and Sorcerers do not get along. Half-demons may chose to get involved in contract killing or a business around the corner. It is a world and society of danger and often horror. Much like the human civilization, it is a world that runs on the quest for control and dominance.
