Thrusting out of the dark waters of the ocean, Dark Island is covered almost entirely by woods and encompassed by rocky cliffs. It is located just under 100 miles from the Maine coastline and has a population of about 3,000. It is a small island in size and most of the land is wild and unpopulated.
Though, on the outside, Dark Island seems like any other Fisherman's town. However it is a constantly growing area for supernatural beings. A powerful Cabal has situated its headquarters in a newly constructed building; a local Coven has moved to solitude of the Islan'ds cliffs, and the Pack is continually growing and thriving in the forest-side Estate.
The human population is usually unaware of the 'freaks' that live amoung them, but the Police Department is having more and more problems explaining the mysterious murders and dangerous events going on. Events, that until recently, had never happened on the peaceful island.
